Terms and Conditions


Disclaimers 

The producers of Spokane Witches Balls want you to enjoy the event and have fun! We also want you to be safe. In an effort to keep this event as safe as possible for our staff, our venue, and our guests we would like to establish some ground rules and introduce some disclaimers. By purchasing a ticket you are agreeing to these terms, conditions, and regulations. 

We reserve the right to require anyone violating our rules of conduct to leave the event.  Any violation which is prohibited by law will result in notification of the proper authorities.

Venue terms and conditions. 

  1. Out of respect to the venue owners and those of us who clean up afterwards we ask that you avoid an excessive amount of glitter.
  2. Washington State law prohibits smoking indoors and within twenty-five feet of doorways and building ventilation access.
  3. ​Do not Engage in any act which could result in substantial risk or harm to people or property;
  4. Do not engage in literature distribution without the written permission of the producers.
  5. Please do not film or photograph anyone without permission, unintentional or not. 
  6. ​​Drinking or use of other intoxicants is prohibited.  Individuals who appear to be intoxicated will not be allowed into the event.

Squirrelly terms and conditions. 

  1. Our event offers products with peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk, eggs and wheat. While we take steps to minimize the risk of cross contamination, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are safe to consumer for people with peanut, tree nut, soy, milk, egg or wheat allergies. (Food however will be labeled with ingredients intentionally included)
  2. This event is for 18 and up. Do not purchase a ticket if you are under 18 (You will be turned away,  and in this case, tickets are non refundable).
  3. We retain the right to turn away anyone who we perceive as harassing or endangering the safety of our guests, staff, and/or venue. (Please behave accordingly.)
  4.  Overt sexual behavior or attire  will result in Staff members asking the attendee to leave.
  5. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or injury. Attendees are responsible for their individual actions and any repercussions that may result. Civil or medical emergencies are to be handled directly by the proper authorities. We are not responsible for your personal property. Keep track of your items.​ Any attendees caught in the act of stealing will be asked to leave, or handed over to authorities.  No exceptions.
  6. If you cause damage to the venue, you will be required to pay for repairs.

Costume Regulations and Peace Bonding


​In an effort to keep everyone safe we have some rules about costumes and props. 

  1. We askthat all attendees wear costumes. 
  2. You must have your props, if any, submitted for peace-bonding. Peace-bonding will be conducted at the peace-bonding table at the entrance. Types of props peace bonded are at the sole discretion of the event staff. Peace bonds are not to be removed during the event for any reason. It must be possible for peace-bonding staff to securely zip-tie the prop into its sheath so that it may not be drawn. Ribbons, cloth, or tape wrapped around the blade do not qualify as sheaths.
  3. Drawing a weapon in or around the event  may result in being asked to leave. Keep in mind, police will assume all drawn weapons are functional, and will act accordingly. If you are unsure whether your weapon is acceptable please ask staff available at the entrance.
  4. Bows: All props designed to represent a stringed weapon must be unstrung, regardless of the manner in which they were constructed. ‘Unstrung’ means that no length of cord, string, rope, or other flexible material may be connected from one limb of the prop to the other.

Refund Policy

Refunds offered if:
  • the Event is cancelled.
  • the Event is rescheduled.
  • we receive your request for a refund at least 5 days prior to the Event or no later than October 8, 2018 6:00 pm.
